Real World Example

Imagine trying to fit into your favorite pair of jeans after a holiday feast; it’s a tight squeeze until you release the pressure by loosening the button. This scenario is similar to vaporization, where a liquid turns into a gas when the particles in the liquid gain enough energy to overcome the pressure holding them together. Just as loosening the button allows you to expand and feel more comfortable, gaining energy allows liquid particles to escape their tight formation and spread out as a gas.
