Hydrogen Bond

A weak bond of attraction between a hydrogen atom and another atom
Real World Example
Imagine trying to hold onto a slippery bar of soap in the shower—it's there, but it's not firmly in your grasp. Similarly, a hydrogen bond is like that slippery connection where a hydrogen atom is gently attracted to another atom, but not held too tightly. Just like your fingers can't quite get a solid grip on the soap, the hydrogen atom in a hydrogen bond is loosely connected, providing enough of a hold to stay in place, but easily broken with a little force.
