Neap Tide

The tide with the smallest difference between high and low tide
Real World Example
Imagine trying to schedule a meeting when two coworkers have conflicting schedules and can't fully commit. This situation is similar to a neap tide, where the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon are at right angles, partially canceling each other out, much like the conflicting schedules. Just as the meeting time ends up being a compromise with the least overlap of availability, a neap tide results in the smallest difference between high and low tides due to the reduced gravitational influence.
