An ionic compound made from the neutralization of an acid with a base
Real World Example
Imagine you're trying to balance a seesaw with two people of different weights sitting on either side. This is similar to how an ionic compound, like salt, is formed when an acid and a base neutralize each other. Just as you need to adjust the positions of the people on the seesaw to achieve balance, an acid and a base give and take ions to create a stable, neutral compound.
