Percent Yield

The actual yield expressed as a percentage of the theoretical yield
Real World Example
Imagine you're baking cookies and the recipe says it makes 24 cookies, but you end up with only 20. This situation is similar to the concept of percent yield in chemistry, where the actual amount of product (cookies you made) is often less than the theoretical amount predicted (24 cookies by the recipe). Just like you calculate how many cookies you actually made compared to what you expected, percent yield measures the actual yield of a chemical reaction against the theoretical yield, showing efficiency in both baking and laboratory settings.
