Electromagnetic Radiation

Energy that travels through space in the form of waves
Real World Example
Imagine trying to communicate with a friend across a busy park filled with people, dogs, and the sounds of a nearby street, using only your voice. Just like your voice needs to travel through the air to reach your friend's ears amidst all the noise, electromagnetic radiation carries energy across vast distances, through space, in the form of waves. In this analogy, your voice is akin to the energy, the sound waves are like the electromagnetic waves, and the park is the expanse of space; both your voice and electromagnetic waves must navigate through a medium to deliver a message or energy from one point to another.
