Hydrogen Bond

A weak bond of attraction between a hydrogen atom and another atom
Real World Example
Imagine trying to peel apart two sticky notes that are lightly pressed together. This is similar to hydrogen bonds, where a hydrogen atom is weakly attracted to another atom, much like the gentle cling of one sticky note to another. Just as the notes stick due to a light adhesive, hydrogen bonds form because of a mild attraction between the slightly positive hydrogen and a slightly negative atom, creating a bond that's easy to separate, yet significant enough to hold together temporarily.
