Evaporation

Evaporation Definition | Radience Gaming

The top of liquid changing into a gas

Real World Example

Imagine you're at a crowded party, and everyone is trying to leave at the same time through a single door. This scenario is similar to evaporation, where only the molecules at the surface of a liquid have enough energy to "escape" into the air, much like partygoers squeezing through the exit. Just as only those closest to the door can leave the party, in evaporation, only the surface molecules with the most energy can break free and transition into a gas.
