Chemical reactions that don’t require oxygen
Real World Example
Imagine planning a camping trip where you need to cook your meals but there's no electricity available. This scenario is much like anaerobic reactions in that you find alternative methods to achieve your goal without relying on the usual resource—in this case, cooking without electricity. Just as you might use a gas stove or a campfire instead of an electric stove, anaerobic reactions proceed by using means other than oxygen to drive the chemical processes.
