Introduced Species
A species which arrived in ecosystem by human activity
Real World Example
Imagine you've invited a guest to a small, close-knit dinner party, and they unexpectedly bring along a friend who wasn't on the guest list. This situation is quite similar to an introduced species arriving in an ecosystem due to human activity. Just as the uninvited guest might disrupt the dynamics of your dinner party by altering conversations or taking up resources meant for others, an introduced species can disrupt the balance of an ecosystem by competing with native species for food and habitat. In this analogy, your dinner party represents the ecosystem, the invited guests are the native species, and the unexpected friend is the introduced species, whose presence can lead to unforeseen changes and challenges.
