Beta Particle

A high-energy electron emitted by a radioactive nucleus
Real World Example
Imagine trying to find the right-sized shoe in a packed closet, where everything is crammed and disorganized. This is similar to how a nucleus in an atom can become unstable and need to release some of its energy to reach a more stable state. Just as pulling out that unused pair of shoes can make your closet more organized, a radioactive nucleus emits a beta particle, which is a high-energy electron, to achieve a more balanced and stable configuration.
