Nuclear Force

An attractive force that acts between nuclear particles that are close together, such as protons and neutrons in a nucleus

Real World Example

Imagine you're trying to keep a group of friends together in a crowded amusement park. Just like how staying close in a group helps you not to get separated from your friends, the nuclear force acts to keep protons and neutrons tightly bound together when they are extremely close. In this analogy, the crowded park represents the chaotic environment of the atomic nucleus, your friends are the nuclear particles (protons and neutrons), and your effort to keep everyone together mirrors the attractive nuclear force that prevents the nucleus from falling apart despite the presence of repulsive forces, much like the distractions and obstacles in the park.
