Real World Example
Imagine trying to fit a pile of clothes into a suitcase that's too small. Just like those clothes, which spread out when not confined, a gas will expand to fill any container it's put into, without having a fixed shape or volume. The way the clothes mold and adjust to the shape of the suitcase, regardless of how much space is available, is similar to how gas particles spread out to fill the space they occupy, adapting to the shape and volume of their container.
