Larynx

The voice box, it contains vocal cords

Real World Example

Imagine trying to make a balloon squeak by pinching the neck and letting the air out slowly. This is similar to how our larynx, or voice box, works to produce sound. Just like the tension and shape of the balloon's neck control the pitch and loudness of the squeak, the vocal cords within the larynx vibrate and adjust to create different sounds and tones when we speak or sing.
