Parallax

The apparent change in position of an object when viewed from different places
Real World Example
Imagine you're sitting in a car at a traffic light, and you notice that when you shift your head from side to side, the position of the streetlight in the background seems to move compared to nearby objects like the car in front of you. This is similar to the concept of parallax, where an object's position appears to change when observed from different angles. Just like your shifting viewpoint causes the streetlight to seem to move relative to closer objects, astronomers use parallax to determine the distance of stars by observing their apparent shift in position when viewed from different points in Earth's orbit.
