Real World Example

Imagine trying to listen to a conversation in a crowded room where everyone is talking at once. Just as your ears can only pick up individual voices amidst the noise up to a certain point, ultrasonic sound waves operate at frequencies higher than what the human ear can detect, much like those voices beyond your hearing range in that noisy room. In both cases, whether it's the chaos of the room or the high-frequency ultrasonic waves, there are sounds present that we simply can't perceive because they exceed our natural listening capabilities.
