Imagine you're at a crowded concert trying to make your way from the back of the venue to the front. This movement of people through the crowd is like the electric current, which is the flow of electric charge through a conductor. Just as the number of people passing a point in the crowd per second can tell you how busy the path is, the electric current is measured in amperes (A), indicating how much charge passes through a point in the circuit each second.
