Flagellum

A long, tail-like structure that helps a cell to move

Real World Example

Imagine trying to navigate a crowded room while carrying a large suitcase. Just like how you use the handle and wheels of the suitcase to maneuver around obstacles and reach your destination, a cell uses its flagellum to propel itself through its environment. The wheels and handle of the suitcase are analogous to the flagellum, enabling movement and direction, allowing the cell to efficiently move towards nutrients or away from harmful substances, much like you steer your suitcase towards your intended path.
