Budding

Asexual reproduction where a new organism forms as an outgrowth of its parent

Real World Example

Imagine you’re kneading dough for bread, and you notice a small piece starts to tear away but remains attached, forming a little lump. This is similar to budding in asexual reproduction, where a new organism starts to grow as an outgrowth from the parent organism. Just like that lump of dough that eventually separates and becomes its own piece, in budding, the new organism will eventually detach and live independently, with all of its genetic material derived from the parent, much like how the lump of dough still contains the same ingredients as the original dough.
