Bycatch

A marine species that is caught unintentionally while catching target species
Real World Example
Imagine you're cleaning out your closet, trying to find your favorite sweater, but along the way, you accidentally pull out a bunch of clothes you didn't intend to deal with. This scenario is similar to the concept of bycatch in fishing, where fishermen aim to catch specific target species but end up capturing other marine species unintentionally. Just like clothes unintentionally pulled out while searching for a particular item, bycatch represents the unintended marine life caught while targeting specific fish, highlighting the challenge of sorting through what you want versus what you inadvertently gather.
