Harmful Algal Bloom

Contains organisms that can severely lower oxygen levels in natural waters
Real World Example
Imagine being in a crowded room where too many people are talking loudly, making it hard to breathe comfortably. This situation is similar to a harmful algal bloom where an overgrowth of algae in water bodies consumes a lot of oxygen, leaving little for other aquatic life. Just as the crowded room feels suffocating due to the overwhelming noise and lack of fresh air, a body of water experiencing an algal bloom becomes depleted of oxygen because the excessive algae use it up, making it difficult for fish and other organisms to survive.
