Electromagnetic energy that travels in waves, not all light is in the visible spectrum
Real World Example
Imagine trying to tune your radio to find a specific station, but all you hear is static because the station is broadcasting at a frequency your radio can't pick up. Similarly, light is a form of electromagnetic energy that travels in waves, and not all of it falls within the visible spectrum that our eyes can "tune into." Just as the radio station exists beyond the range of your radio's tuner, much of the electromagnetic spectrum exists beyond the range of human vision, with only a small portion being visible light, akin to finding the right frequency on your radio dial.
