Real World Example
Imagine you're trying to guess the number of jellybeans in a jar at a fair. Just like when estimating jellybeans, you're sure about the full jars you see, but you have to take a best guess at the extra beans that don’t quite fill another jar. In this way, significant figures in a measurement are like the jellybeans: you're certain about the fully counted jars (the exact digits), and you make an informed estimate about the leftover beans (the one uncertain digit), ensuring that your overall guess is as accurate as possible.
