Immunity given by antibodies made by the immune system, in response to an antigen

Real World Example

Imagine you’re trying to learn a new recipe by watching a cooking show. Just like how you learn to cook a dish by observing and practicing the steps from the show, your immune system learns to defend your body by creating antibodies when it encounters an antigen, like a virus or bacteria. In this analogy, the cooking show is the antigen that introduces you to something new, and the practice of cooking the dish over time represents your immune system’s creation of antibodies, which then helps you "remember" how to fight off that specific infection in the future.
