Memory Cell

A B cell that develops immunity to an antigen after their first encounter
Real World Example
Imagine getting lost in a new city and finally finding your way back to your hotel after a long, winding journey. The next time you're in that city, you remember the landmarks and paths, allowing you to navigate much more easily. Similarly, a B cell encounters an antigen for the first time and learns to recognize it, developing a sort of 'memory' that allows it to respond more efficiently if it encounters the same antigen again. Just as you remember the streets and landmarks to avoid getting lost again, the B cell remembers the antigen, enabling it to mount a quicker and more effective immune response in future encounters.
