Passive Immunity

Temporary immunity gained from antibodies given to a person, not produced by them
Real World Example
Imagine you’re borrowing a friend’s umbrella on a rainy day because you forgot yours at home. Just like using your friend's umbrella provides temporary protection from the rain, passive immunity provides temporary protection from diseases through antibodies that are given to you, rather than ones your body has produced itself. In this analogy, your friend's umbrella is like the antibodies: both offer temporary help in a situation where you lack your own resources to stay protected.
