Skin Epidermis

The outer, thinnest layer of skin that is made up of dead cells
Real World Example
Imagine dealing with a stack of old newspapers piling up at your front door, serving as a buffer against dust and dirt from the outside. Similarly, the epidermis, the outermost and thinnest layer of the skin, is composed of dead cells that act as a protective barrier for the body. Just like how old newspapers shield your home from external elements, the dead cells in the epidermis guard the living layers of skin beneath from bacteria, chemicals, and physical damage.
