Electric Motor

A device that turns electrical energy into movement, or mechanical energy
Real World Example
Imagine trying to open a stubborn jar lid that just won't budge. This is similar to how an electric motor works because, like your muscles converting effort into the twisting motion needed to open the jar, an electric motor converts electrical energy into mechanical movement. Just as your hand and muscles transform your energy to create motion to twist open the jar, the motor uses electricity to generate a force that results in the rotation of a shaft, turning electrical energy into the mechanical energy needed to power devices.
