Telescope

A device that makes distant objects appear closer
Real World Example
Imagine trying to read a book across the room without getting up from your cozy spot on the couch. Just as you might use a pair of binoculars to bring the words into focus from afar, a telescope is designed to make distant celestial objects appear closer and clearer to our eyes. Both the binoculars and the telescope work by using lenses to magnify and bring clarity to things that are far away, allowing us to see details we couldn't otherwise perceive from our position.
