Water Pollution

The addition of harmful substances to water
Real World Example
Imagine trying to enjoy a nice cup of coffee, but someone keeps adding spoonfuls of salt to it. Just like how the salt ruins your coffee by changing its taste and making it undrinkable, the addition of harmful substances to water pollutes it, rendering it unsafe for use. In this analogy, the coffee is like our water sources, and the unwanted salt represents the pollutants being introduced, both of which compromise the original quality and intended use of the liquid.
