Geyser

A hot spring that periodically shoots water and steam into the air
Real World Example
Imagine the frustration of a shaken soda can suddenly fizzing over when you open it. This is similar to how a geyser works because both involve the release of pressure that results in an explosive reaction. Just like gas builds up inside a sealed soda can, pressure builds beneath the Earth's surface in a geyser; when the pressure is suddenly released, both the soda and the geyser erupt, sending liquid (soda or hot water) and gas (carbonation or steam) flying into the air.
