Batholith

Batholith Definition | Radience Gaming

A large rock mass that forms when magma cools inside Earth’s crust

Real World Example

Imagine trying to make a jelly dessert, but you accidentally leave it too long in the mold, and it solidifies completely inside, making it difficult to remove. This is similar to how a batholith forms when magma cools and solidifies beneath the Earth's surface without erupting as lava. Just like the jelly hardens within the confines of the mold, the magma cools and crystallizes into a massive rock formation within the crust, creating a batholith.
