Continental Glacier

A glacier that covers much of a continent

Real World Example

Imagine trying to spread a thick layer of frosting evenly across a large cake. Just as the frosting covers the entire surface of the cake, a continental glacier spreads over vast portions of a continent. In this analogy, the frosting represents the glacier, which, like the frosting, moves outward from the center and covers everything in its path, reshaping the landscape beneath it just as frosting smooths over the cake's surface.
