Kettle

A lake formed by melted ice, left behind by a glacier
Real World Example
Imagine you're trying to clean up after a big party, and once you've moved all the big items and trash, you find small puddles of spilled drinks left behind. This is similar to how a glacier, after moving across the land and melting away, leaves behind small lakes called kettles. Just as the puddles are remnants of the larger event of your party, kettles are remnants of the massive glaciers, formed when chunks of ice are left behind, melt, and create depressions filled with water.
