Real World Example

Imagine you're cleaning your house and as you move from room to room, you push piles of dust and debris ahead of you until they form a line at the edge of a room. This is similar to how a glacier moves across the land, pushing rocks and debris in front of it until they pile up into a ridge called a moraine. Just as your cleaning efforts gather dust into a noticeable line, a glacier's movement collects and deposits rock debris into a distinct ridge, marking the boundary of its path.
