Something occurring within a species. Intraspecific. Intraspecific refers to interactions or variations that occur within the same species, such as competition among individuals for resources.

Describes an organism that is unable to move from a location. Sessile. In science, sessile refers to organisms, like some plants and sea creatures, that are fixed in one place and do not move around.

The eggs and sperm released or deposited into water by aquatic animals. Spawning is when aquatic animals release eggs and sperm into the water for reproduction.
