Amplitude Modulation

A method of transmitting information by changing the amplitude of a wave
Real World Example
Imagine you're trying to convey your mood to a friend by changing the volume of your voice. Just like you modulate your voice's volume to express excitement or calmness, amplitude modulation involves altering the amplitude of a wave to transmit information. In this analogy, your varying voice volume represents the changing amplitude, your mood is the information, and your voice is the carrier wave, much like how amplitude modulation adjusts the strength of a signal to encode and send data.
