Buoyant Force

The upward force exerted on an object immersed in a fluid
Real World Example
Imagine trying to hold a beach ball underwater at a pool. Just as the beach ball wants to pop back up to the surface when you let go, objects immersed in a fluid experience an upward force, known as buoyant force. The resistance you feel from the beach ball trying to escape upwards is like the buoyant force, which acts to push any submerged object back toward the surface of the fluid, counteracting the force of gravity pulling it down.
