Organelle

A structure in a cell, specialized to perform a specific function
Real World Example
Imagine trying to organize a family gathering where each person has a specific task to ensure the event runs smoothly. This is similar to how organelles within a cell each have specialized roles to keep the cell functioning properly. Just like you might assign someone to handle the food, another to manage seating, and someone else to take care of entertainment, organelles like the mitochondria, ribosomes, and Golgi apparatus each perform distinct functions—energy production, protein synthesis, and packaging proteins, respectively—to maintain the cell’s operations.
