Climate

The average weather conditions of an area, over a long period of time. Climate. Climate is what the weather is usually like in a place over many years.

Continental climate

The climate at the center of a continent, with hot summers and cold winters. Continental climate. A continental climate has very hot summers and very cold winters because it's far from the ocean.

Marine climate

A climate influenced by an ocean, with warm winters and cool summers. Marine climate. A marine climate means the ocean helps keep the weather mild, not too hot or cold.

Thunderstorm

A storm with lightning and thunder. Thunderstorm. A thunderstorm is a type of weather with rain, thunder, and flashes of lightning.

Weather

The atmospheric conditions at a specific time and place, like raining and cold, weather. Weather is what its like outside right now, such as sunny, rainy, or snowy.
